Benchmarks in Core i9 9900K
It doesn't favor Intel but also if you look at the the8700K you know if your team Intel and want to go with the higher clock counts if you're using video production with the new quick sync support 8700K is a fantastic chip you can still buy this 8700K with a Z370 motherboard and that will still be less than the pre-order price for the 9900K the price in Europe for this new chip is 650 euros that are expensive my friends and so if you look at a bigger picture the 9900K may be the best CPU gaming processor.
You can also upgrade your old laptop or pc to new intel core i9 9900k.
But obviously, it's also the most expensive especially when considering you can purchase entire CPU and motherboard combos for less than five hundred and eighty dollars now because the 9900K is on core and thread parity to the rise in2700X so if you want that many cores and threads for productivity and gaming.
I've highlighted in the benchmarks so you can kind of visualize where the the9900K sits in comparison to the 2700X here's the specifications for our testbed system running the same cooler and both chips running the same memory and latency on both rises in an Intel let's begin with the benchmarks starting off with Cine bench r15 the 9900K does beat out a 2700X and the 2000 points are pretty strong well done.

I'm guessing because the slightly lower clock speeds are kind of at the bottom of the chart there for W prime and single-core test performance is quite strong thanks to those clock speeds but then multi-core benchmark and the gap closes between the 2,700X.
So, not really significant difference there moving on to Aida 64 CPU AES benchmark look at how far below the 9900K is below the 2,700X the same thing with the CPU hash benchmark yeah like 2.5x performance on the 2700X.
Intel Core i9 9900K is quite nice in Aida FPU test the 9900K tops the chart so pretty good performance there in either 64 photo works so it simulates photo environment the higher clock speeds are better here but again the difference here isn't that significant but versus the 2700X and even the 8700K and definitely keep a lookout on where the 8700K sits so that you can kind of compare on what the two additional cores at these benchmarks.
Next-Generation GPU
Some real-world processing benchmarks 7-zip 9900K is powerful but look at them you know massive lineup above it it does beat out 2700 by quite a lot though and whenever that performance gap widens quite a bit tops the chart very nice moving on to pov-ray the 9900K beats out the 2700X but the higher core counts on the other CPUs above it definitely benefit with this benchmark and hen breaks.

I'll definitely do more Adobe Premier testing with quick support utilizing that Intel UHD 630 graphics versus the 8700K and the 8600K and I'm hoping that because of the additional two cores and higher clock counts that I will see a significant improvement in rendering performance versus what I use now on the 8700K but now let's begin with the gaming benchmarks starting with 3D mark fire strike the 9900K performs very well almost 25,000 points here but the 8700K tails just a little behind that 23.4 and almost 21,000 for the 2700X for the time.
Spidy X 12 CPU benchmark the 9900 K is quite powerful 11,000 points over here while just under 9,000for the 2700X and look at how below the 8700K is well for the entire time spider x12 benchmark the 9900K tops the chart over here at 9600 81 points and just nine thousand three hundred points for the 2700X so it's not that far behind moving on to Battlefield 1.

Cinebench r15 with a crash, therefore, deeming the overclock not 100percent reliable so overclocking 9900 gain is very similar to what you find doing on the 8700k but what we're told is that the memory controller on the 9900K is weaker than on the previous 8700K chips so you need to give more voltage to the memory controller to achieve higher clock speeds on memory on this new a9 processor and also he was not able to run ddr4 at 3866 megahertz on the Asus Strix z390.

Gigahertz was 87 degrees Celsius which is basically identical to what you would find with the 8700K at five gigahertz with that identical 1.35 volts and so there you have it the 9900K is out it's powerful its power-efficient that overclocks well just like in 8700K wood but the price point that price Delta between it and let's say an 8700K or the 2700X does not reflect the performance difference between those CPUs and therefore you kind of have to ask yes.
It is the best gaming CPU right now but from a value perspective it makes no sense becauseyou can buy a motherboard and the chip for that much money and performancedifference.
I mean it's there but you decide if it's worth it to you and some recommendation is still looking to the 8700K. It is Still still cheaper to buy than a motherboard than the 9900K by itself look into the horizon 2700X performance there is lower in gaming because the clocks are not higher but that's just the nature of aim D versus. Intel debate but in terms of its overall umbrella performance is really good on both 8700 K and the 2700X.
